Candle Care
To ensure your candle burns well and delivers a maximum fragrance throw, it is essential to follow proper care practices. Before lighting the candle for the first time, trim the wick to approximately 1/4 inch to prevent excessive smoke and soot. Place the candle on a heat-resistant surface away from drafts, flammable objects, and out of reach of children and pets. Allow the candle to burn long enough to create an even melt pool across the entire surface, typically about one to two hours. This will prevent tunneling, where the candle burns unevenly. When extinguishing the flame, use a snuffer or gently blow out the candle, minimizing any smoke. Do not burn candle for more than 4 hours at a time. To preserve the fragrance, keep the wax pool free from debris, such as wick trimmings. Following these care guidelines will ensure your candle burns beautifully and fills your space with delightful fragrance.
